SST UPDATES

Prohibits removal of trees measuring 60” diameter at breast height or greater within the Town Center zones 3 and 4. Ordinance No 1062 was adopted by Council on July 16, 2026 extending interim regulations. This ordinance is in effect until January 26, 2027.

Sound Transit will remove 58 significant trees along NE 145th for the Sound Transit NE 145th/SR 522 project. Tree replacements and fee in lieu will be required.
